Welcome

WHAT'S NEW? The June 15, 2008 issue of Wine Spectator featured Cedarville Vineyard in an article on the Sierra Foothills. Here's one of the highlights from the article: "You'll get personal attention when you visit this tiny, family run winery. Armed with enology degrees from the University of California, Davis, Jonathan Lachs and Susan Marks have flown by the seat of their pants to build their business, and after just more than a decade, they're producing some of the best Zinfandels in the area" -Wine Spectator, June 15, 2008

On May 1st, we released our 2006 Zinfandel, 2006 Grenache, and 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon. We still have small amounts of our 2005 Syrah, 2005 Petite Sirah, and a very small amount of our 2006 Vognier available. We've announced the date for our 2008 Mailing List Open House, June 21st. If you'd like to join us, you must RSVP by June 16th!

If you are interested in purchasing our wines, please download our order form (Adobe Acrobat format) and mail or fax it to us (or give us a call). If you'd like to taste our wines, please give us a call at 530-620-9463 and set up an appointment to visit us here at the winery.

Cedarville Vineyard is located in a small Gold Rush era community called Fair Play, in south El Dorado County in the Sierra Foothills. Our estate vineyard is farmed sustainably. All of our wines are hand-crafted in small lots entirely from our 15 acre estate vineyard at 2500 ft. elevation. We strive to create ripe, fully flavored wines that express our unique mountain terroir. Production is very limited. Our wines are available primarily through our mailing list, and select restaurants and wine shops. Please contact us for more information on obtaining our wines and joining us for special events at the winery.
